New Company! New locations!

As some of you may have heard, this month our team switched companies. We are now with Coldwell Banker Prestige Realty.  This decision to move was based on months of research as to whether it was possible to improve the service and results that we provide to our clients. Having determined that we could "take it up a notch", we investigated many companies and met with their management (Coldwell Banker management had to fly in to meet-demonstrating a strong commitment to "good growth").  We concluded that no company could better assist us in offering the best possible service and results to our clients than Coldwell Banker. Below are three of the key areas where I think our move will really benefit our clients.

Direct International Reach

While I have been accused of being a bit too much of a cheerleader for Canada, and to date have enjoyed working at a purely Canadian company, over time, I have realized that the Vancouver real estate market has really gone global-in all price ranges.  We have always had a multi-lingual team and done extensive international marketing.  However joining Coldwell Banker allows us to take that international exposure of our clients' properties to an unprecedented level of excellence that I do not believe can be achieved by any other company.  In the first two weeks of joining Coldwell Banker, we have already been able to provide assistance to two clients which we could not have provided previously. This new alliance allows for direct marketing of our listings to other countries AND agents in other countries who have buyers coming to the Vancouver area.  It also allows us to provide optimal service to our clients who are buying in other countries-something which is happening with increasing frequency.  Coldwell Banker has offices in over 50 countries around the world...and counting!

For our luxury property listings, Coldwell has been a luxury real estate marketing leader for over 80 years and has one of the best luxury real estate marketing programs in the world. For example,  Coldwell Banker Previews program was recognized by Forbes magazine as having sold 2 of the top 5 most expensive properties in the North America in 2013. This type of result can only be accomplished because of an amazing marketing platform for luxury homes AND the ability to direct market those homes to luxury buyers' agents around the world.  We will be taking advantage of the Previews program for our luxury listings.  While I have been a certified Luxury Real Estate Marketing Specialist for years, the Previews training and marketing program will greatly increase our luxury marketing options.

As many of you know, not only do I enjoy teaching courses to realtors, I also love furthering my own education on anything related to one of my passions-real estate.  I think the only way to provide the best results and service is to continually learn and improve skills.  Coldwell Banker University (available free to all agents) has been rated the number one real estate training platform by Training Magazine, for 5 years in a row.  I think this exceptional corporate investment in its agents can really assist our team in assisting all of our clients.
